The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, reference 16520, is a 1995 unisex watch made of steel. This piece from the Daytona line is powered by an automatic mechanical movement. It features a white dial with contrasting sub-dial surrounds. Contrary to popular belief, the Rolex 4030 caliber is not simply a Zenith El Primero movement installed in a Daytona. Rolex did indeed use the El Primero as a base, but thoroughly revised its architecture. More than half of the components were modified or replaced, reducing the number of parts from 278 to approximately 200.
Presented in very good condition, it showcases a precise and controlled steel execution. The watch comes with its box, completing a cohesive set for this iconic Cosmograph Daytona reference.
